Tool and detail bag

I’ve started carrying a lot of tools and cleaning supplies to car shows since we drive to most events. I have been using a nice Griots Garage bag for years, and it’s packed full, but it doesn’t look great when left in the car. A custom bag made with matching leather to the rest of the interior would be cool, but where do I find that? I started searching around and ran across several custom leather shops. The shop I selected is KILLSPENCER in Los Angeles.

I was able to acquire several left over original hides from when the car was built, and brought them to meet with Spencer Nikosey. First off, his shop is extremely cool - all kinds of neat leather bags, custom leather pieces, basketballs, you name it. Spencer took a look at my leftover leather from the original car build and was ready to create a custom bag to match the car’s interior. I wanted a bag made of specific measurements in order to fit right behind the passenger seat, and their Defender Duffle 2.0 was the exact fit. So we discussed using the denim blue distressed leather as the main color on the bag, and the tan leather used on the doors and seat stripes for all the small trim pieces.

A couple of weeks later, and it was ready for pickup, and here it is:
